Slow-acting bait carried back to the queen is what actually collapses a colony, which is why we bait first and spray narrowly.

One visit versus a recurring program is a real decision, not an upsell script. A single targeted treatment is often enough for one indoor trail with a clear source — a pavement ant line at a slab crack in the garage, or a bathroom trail traced to one exterior gap. Recurring quarterly service makes more sense for homes with heavy wooded edge pressure in Braddock, Blue Anchor or Erial, for properties that get spring ants and fall mice like clockwork, and for landlords handling turnovers who need documented service between tenants. The trade-off is straightforward: one-time work costs less today and carries no schedule, while quarterly service keeps the exterior perimeter and the bait stations current so nothing has to be discovered on the kitchen counter first. You are told which one fits your house during the inspection, and you can decline the program without losing the treatment.
